Housing News for Fall 2011
Need help with home repairs?
The Town of Bourne has been working to establish two home repair programs: one with the US Department of Agriculture that has grants up to $7,500 and 1% loans up to $20,000 anywhere within Bourne. A second program, which will begin around the first of the year, will offer grants up to $30,000 in the Buzzards Bay target area and on an emergency basis, in the rest of Town.
Are you, your family, or friends looking to buy an affordable home in Bourne?

We have three different ways to help both residents and nonresidents to buy a home. How about a beautiful new three bedroom, two-bath ranch, all on one floor, designed for easy wheelchair accessibility, for $179,500?

Do you have land to sell to us to build a new affordable single family homes? New town zoning regulations may allow owners to sell small lots for affordable homes. We’re looking for any type of opportunity to create affordable homes.

Applicants for home repair and affordable housing purchase programs must meet income and other eligibility guidelines.
